RESERVATIONS AND DEPOSITS
Reservations are accepted with a valid credit card as a guarantee of deposit. A reservation deposit is required (and automatically charged) within 48 hours of making a reservation, depending on departure date. Final payment is due 45 days prior to departure date. For holiday periods, final payment is due 90 days prior to departure date. A security deposit is required for all privately owned villa and condominium reservations.
Price ranges advertised on this website are based on season, room type and number of guests. Rates are per night and do not include taxes or hotel service charges. Each reservation is for a specified number of guests and/or rooms. Baja Rentals reserves the right to charge for additional guests and/or rooms. Do not exceed the maximum sleeping capacity of your reserved property.
RATES AND ACCOMMODATION SUBSTITUTION
All prices, services and amenities are subject to change without notice. Baja Rentals reserves the right to substitute similar services, accommodations or amenities if they become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control or if a price, service or amenity was shown or quoted incorrectly. All prices are in U.S. Dollars ($USD).
Confirmation documents are normally mailed 21 days prior to departure. These documents will not be released until full payment and the requested signed forms are received. Confirmation documents delayed due to late payment and/or non-receipt of signed forms may require overnight shipment which will be billed to customer.
All our Baja Rentals properties have a minimum age requirement of 21 to rent a privately owned villa or condominium.. You must be a minimum age of 21 to rent a car and have a major credit card. Surcharges may apply for drivers ages 21-24.
PRIVATELY OWNED VILLAS AND CONDOMINIUMS
Cancellations: All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless Baja Rentals is able to re-rent the same property for the same rate and period of time, subject to a $100 cancellation fee.
Rescheduling: You may reschedule 30 days or more prior to your arrival date, with the same property and number of nights, for travel within one year of the original check-out date, subject to a $95 rescheduling fee. Rescheduled reservations are subject to availability and price increases, and the nightly rate is based on the new reservation dates.
Holidays: Holiday reservations are subject to surcharges and may not be rescheduled.
SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES
Changes: Once reservation is under deposit, a $25 per reservation fee applies to changes in travel arrangements. 14 days or less prior to arrival, the fee is $50 per reservation.
Cancellations: Once a reservation is under deposit, a fee of $50 per reservation applies. 30 days prior to arrival, the fee is $100 per reservation. Reservations are non-refundable if cancellation is made 30 days or less prior to arrival. However, you are welcome redeem a cancelled reservation whenever we have last minute availability (3 days advance).
Note: Additional change and cancellation fees may be charged by service and activity vendors within 30 days of arrival date or during holiday periods. These fees are assessed in addition to ESSV penalties.
Any unused portion of accommodation, service or activity is non-refundable. All refund requests must be submitted in writing within 30 days of cancellation or no-show. Reservations made for travel during the holiday period (12/15 - 1/5) are subject to a surcharge, and cancellation penalties may be up to 100% of payment.
We recommend all travelers purchase travel insurance in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Baja-Rentals offers travel insurance options provided by Travel Guard International. Travel insurance can be added up to 30 days prior to arrival date, or up to the date of final payment, whichever comes first.
Accidental Rental Property Insurance
For a fee of $69 per reservation, you may obtain Accidental Rental Property Insurance, also offered by Travel Guard. This insurance will cover up to $3,000 of accidental damages done during your stay and reported to our office no later than the check-out date. This insurance must be added by the final payment due date; please call before your last payment is due if you would like to add the coverage to your reservation.
